Since 2002, the Spring Battle at Absolut Park has been a highlight of the freeski and snowboard scene. What started as a small event has evolved over the years with new, innovative formats and exciting challenges. The goal of the event is to elevate freestyle sports and provide riders with a platform to showcase their best tricks.
The Spring Battle offers freeski and snowboard professionals the perfect opportunity to celebrate the end of their season. Over several days, riders can refine their tricks and prove their skills in their respective categories.
Since its inception in 2002, the Spring Battle has continuously evolved to make the event even more thrilling. By combining traditional roots with digital formats from recent years, the Spring Battle has become a challenging competition that captivates freestyle fans.
One of the most popular formats is the Follow Cam, where participants submit an unedited video of their best run, which is judged by a professional jury. This innovative approach makes the Spring Battle one of the most modern and exciting events in the winter sports scene.

The Spring Battle 2024 at Absolut Park is now in the books! It was a challenging week with unpredictable weather, but that didn’t hold us back. We’re especially proud to announce that the full-size slopestyle was back, and thanks to our shaping crew, the course was top-notch!
